As the wise emperor of a galactic empire once said “Good. Let the hate flow through you!”

I’m assuming it will be Hank Pym past. They cast Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet. Also it’s expected that the crew will return in some capacity. David Dastmalchian (the computer guy) already confirmed he is.

Yeah. Writers tried to juggle too many characters thus season and Iris definitely git sidelined a lot as a “damsel”, but yeah she wasn’t as petulant and ignorant as s1.

If you think about it was Iris really *that* terrible in s3? I mean, c’mon, compare her to s1 Iris. Almost anything is better than s1 Iris.

Netflix must have wanted to play it very safe with Castlevania. It’s hyper-violent, based on a well know but not necessarily super popular niche franchise, so I see why they didn’t order say a 13 episode season. Also the show is very well produced so that also makes the cost more risky.

The stories are exceptionally sloppy to start then quickly devolve into a mess of half baked ideas, aimlessness and a hastily slapped together ending that, to put kindly, mostly involves King self-fellating. It’d take a concerted effort to edit all that out in order to make it marketable to general audiences, but in

King is the person I trust least in this situation, The Gunslinger was fine, but each book became more and more of a sloppy mess as he went on culminating in the final three books which were atrocities of prose and topped off by an angry tirade towards the fan base for no reason. There’s also the fact he went back and

Huh, I really thought they would have gone with the same solid white skin even on Zazie Beetz darker skin tone, just with prosthesis and make up like Nightcrawler or Mystique. Not that I mind the actresses natural skin tone, but no natural skin tone is going to be as haunting and weird as Domino in the comics. And to

Eh, they were poorly paced and more than a bit self indulgent when it came to the now poorly aged special effects, but I rather like the Matrix sequels. They actually have a lot of say, with a lot of depth. I’ll never fault anyone for checking out when rubbery CGI Neo fights even worse CGI Smiths for 10 straight min

Tom Bombadil boring song and dance is still vastly more interesting than anything rubber CGI Legolas is doing in a trilogy film series based on one short book he’s not even in.

I like that an average adult who reads regularly can read The Hobbit faster than they could sit thro all 3 movies.

As long as it doesn’t get too “Marvel”, which yes I know that’s the point of Marvel movies, but they start to feel like commercials for future projects after a while rather than a well told story that happens to have some threads they can expand on.

Show finally focusing on a gay superhero = awesome.

I imagine in this version instead of getting his powers from the atmospheric conditions and sun Superman gets his powers from beating up hookers.

Great trailer. However I was kind of hoping they would hint at the mysterious baby-monster being sent to Earth from last season. Reign I think? One of those Doomsday monsters the Kryptonians have an odd knack for creating.

This show is not perfect. At times it’s downright sloppy, but I give it more leeway than Flash because everyone is having a blast. There’s always so much metahumor like Garber’s aforementioned Titanic line - and it looks like he generally enjoy delivering it. I’m really looking forward to its return.

That looked... has anyone seen the movie Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch? This looks Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch levels of terrible. In fact it’s just that, but with licensed properties. Hard pass. And I love 80s nostalgia.

Change the header image. It gives away the bit.

Not true at all. He did quite well in his roles in Magic Mike, The Hateful Eight and The Foxcatcher. They were all a definite step up from his earlier dramatic roles in Fighting and The Eagle. He’s definitely getting better and it would seem his natural charisma seems to get him roles with literally some of the

Actually I was quite glad it wasn’t Cavill on Supergirl. His drab take was fairly awful whereas Tyler Hoechlin is actually fun, hopeful and endearing in the role.
