I think Death Becomes Her is an amazing, cutting satire with something great in it every minute and would never call it clunky.

Is it not a pun? As in he’s saying it’s the “perfect” universe, but for the audience at home it reads as “Marvel’s Ultimate universe Earth 1610" or whatever it’s designation is.

Time to blow the Horn of Oh Go Fuck Yourself Stephen King.

So says the “person” named robotsanta....

Funny that in the book the park had Japanese investors that were never really mentioned in the films ever. There’s at least more of a reason to use that plot thread if they examined the other company(ies) that were invested in this or add a Japanese character. Unless we’re to suspect B.D. Wong is the only Asian guy in

On the PC they altered the way characters move earlier this year. There were originally infinite dashes previously - now dash powers (or teleport powers) have a set number of charges that slowly build back up over time. They also changed how heroes level up to add more freedom of choice, limited all heroes to only

This isn’t really an MMO in any traditional sense. This is basically Diablo, but occasionally other players will be on large maps with you and you can group with them if you like. Or just go about your business. I can’t really speak for the console version, but it’s the same game as the PC pretty much - just slimmed

I love the new changes this year and to call them a nerf is egregious, but to each their own. I really dig the game now more than ever and I’ve been playing since closed beta.

To shield his eyes from shrapnel when he’s punching boulders.

This was my take from the trailer. While every line could be isolated and thus unrelated when Rey explains that she sees both light, darkness and the balance we hear Luke saying “It’s so much bigger”. That couple with Luke saying the Jedi should end I took it to mean that the old paradigms were obsolete because the

I’m gonna need a Tron based... blue rum or something to drink those sorrows away too.

I like cats and Nightcrawler is my favorite comic book character of all time and yeah... it’s pretty “meh”. Slow news day I guess.

I gotta say I found him fairly dull in Man from UNCLE myself. Granted not as completely devoid of soul like the Synder movies, but still. I’d rather get someone who can nail the personality of the character (or any personality) than have him look like 1:1 double of the character.

Yes. Pretty much that exact line of thinking lol

I really hope they eventually bring in the Green Lantern corps and they’re all “We try really hard to avoid sector 2814 as much as possible” because it’s such a mess.

That was pretty much the original intent in Alien according to Scott. That’s how I always read those scenes with the derelict ship too. The crew of the Nostromo found a downed bomber. Only instead of armed with nukes, it’s armed with xeno eggs. He’s said this in interviews and further implications of it being a

Especially when it’s getting to the point in real life where people are arguing even the most basic concepts of the scientific method.

I always saw it as that there are extreme events that can or will irrevocably change someone and thus the dynamic of a relationship is changed permanently. That seemed to be the underlying theme across the books as each character deals with the tangible impossibility of “Area X” their interpersonal relationships

It’s not really a “plot” kind of story. I read all three books in the series and was satisfied since it was very character driven. It was more about how people react to an impossible to understand “alien” intellect and the abstract becoming reality - rather than overcoming something that cannot be understood. I can
