I’ll take Godzilla any day of the week over Kong, though it’d have been nice to have a lead with.... any level of personality in the next Godzilla film.

This is good. I love this show. 78 episodes would be freaking amazing, I hope they really are committed to that.
Unfortunately the creators of Avatar are taking a break from the series, so you’d have to petition them first.
Exiles is about the only reason I’d watch any live action X-Men movie/show again outside of an extreme hard reboot of the whole franchise.
As popular as VIII? Ha! I wish... I really do wish VIII was popular. Recognizable maybe. It’s rarely liked, let alone loved on the level of 7 or even other installments.
This would be like the inverse of that Superboy Prime story (Infinite Crisis?). A character totally out of place, from a different era entirely, doing a big meta commentary on the super hero medium (granted Batman 66 wouldn’t be a douchenozzle like Prime was). I mean c’mon - that’d be a real comic book movie that’s…
If that’s not Rachel up there then does that mean it’s Hope? Ugh.... she’s the wooorrssst.
He’s kinda like this:
I really want him to just be Burke again, but I also wouldn’t be against or totally surprised if they turned that expectation on its head halfway through the seasons. In terms of classic sci-fi movie villains go Reiser’s near the top for being such an iniquitous, spineless corporate stooge, so it’s perfect for both…
To be fair Eggo waffles probably footed some of the bill for the ad. The series has been great exposure for them. If anything just to sell cardboard boxes with their logo on it for all the couples crossplaying 11 & Mike during Halloween.
Too .... different? The point of 9 was that it went back to the FF1 - 5 era. That was half the series at that point. Even by then fans were fractured by the direction 6, 7 and 8 moved the franchise in.
Kevin Flynn - “The thing about perfection is that it’s unknowable. It’s impossible, but it’s also right in front of us all the time. You wouldn’t know that because I didn’t when I created you . . . I’m sorry, CLU. I’m sorry.”
Clever. I’m still trying to get over Godzilla and Jezebel being in the same place at the same time. These are two vastly different interests of mine joining together. These are strange times.
Explanation of the joke follows:
But if they don’t washout the colors how will we know the show is set in a troubled future!?
They mention the 13 darkness things and 7 lights in the recap. They literally recap everything (save the time travel which.... that was just nonsense that takes away from the story for every fan so I’m sure it’ll only get casual mention at some point to remind that fanbase of horrible choices that were made). I feel…
It’s funny because at the end of 0.2 they totally gloss over DDD because it was so unimportant. They give quick recap that literally boils down to- Master Xehanort is still bad and has an evil plan. Sora (pointlessly) failed the Mark of Mastery Exam, but he’s still the main character and is the best chance to beat…
Monsterverse is generic and dumb and when it was announced recently my immediate reaction was, “This sounds like Godzilla is gonna fight Dracula. Eh, at least it will still be a more interesting fight than Kong”. I’m a huge Godzilla fan so something or anything that would make it more apparent it was centered on him…
It wasn’t terrible, but wasn’t that good either. The films biggest crime is it’s largely mediocre.
That title change to “Uprising” though ... :(
