It was never meant to fit in the movie. This is not a prequel or "origin story," it's a companion piece. Not even close. It's set in a different era, for starters. The Sheriff and his relationship with Norma is completely different from the beginning.

I thought Norman and Madeline's relationship has been fully developed, they've invested multiple episodes on it. One missed opportunity: Sam had emasculated Norman a few times, and that could have been a motivator, especially when his alter-ego is telling him he's a "man" now.

She was… servicable. Not distractingly horrible, but passable.

The overtly emotional scenes are easy. It's the subtler scenes where her inexperience showed. The ham sandwich scene was arough, especially next too Highmore. She was servicable, and wasn't bad enough to be distracting.

When Sam's dead face smushed against the floor tile in the exact position Janet Leigh's did, I burst out laughing.

He really is good at playing a shit and getting a horrible, well-deserved death.

It would have been sheer stupidity to basically tell the same story. No remake will ever hold a candle to the original. This guy doesn't know what he's talking about.

Yes, the original Marion didn't deserve to die, and killing off the charismatic protagonist in the first act puts the audience in Norman's shoes, which makes us uneasy for the rest of the film, and we don't know why. Film Studies 101.

Smart. By remixing it, you avoid direct comparisons to what will always be considered the superior original.Genius, really.

Not to discount his amazing talent, but putting him opposite Rihanna is the equivalent of a girl hanging out with ugly girlfriends to look prettier.

I hate you.

Kristi Yamaguchi wins the internet forever.

Am I the only one that groaned at the line: "Make Daxam great again?" I mean, seriously, I'm sick of being beaten over the head with these political overtones everywhere.

The fap scene already happened last week, before revealing Marion Crane. His mom interrupts him.

Or gargling shards of glass?

Or Rick Gonzalez.

Is she about to snatch her wig in that cover photo, cause I kinda need to see the "after" photo if that's the case.

Except that time he grabbed a woman and shoved her.

His approval ratings are under water and about the same as Trump's. Says a lot when even Canadians don't like you.

Well Dr Luke did drug and rape someone, so….
