Thanks for good and interesting questions. I hope you guys follow me for the rest of the season and if you have any more questions, follow me on Twitter @neeljani or on my Facebook fan page, Neel Jani. :) Another good info page is also the Twitter account for Porsche racing: @PorscheRaces.

For drifting, GT-86. For girls, the Cayman. :)

Clearly the 919 is the best Porsche car ever. :)

No other job that I want. :)

Good question. To give you a full answer, it would take too long. In short, in terms of energy/fuel efficiency, WEC is operating on a much higher level than F1, and that’s what Audi, Porsche and Toyota are interested in because they want to use that technology in their future road cars.

I like the old ones, especially Goldfinger. The old James Bond films have more class and less violence than the new ones.

Well, the most satisfying was breaking the lap record at Le Mans. I hope to keep it for a long time. :)

No, Porsche will only race Porsches. :)

It was a big difference working with 40 people at Rebellion with over 200 now at Porsche. I can’t memorize all the names of all the team members anymore. There’s so many.

Well, don’t drink and drive, first of all. :) Drive within your limits and nothing will happen as on the road.

You’re welcome. Happy to answer your question.

Actually, quite a lot because we need to decide visibility, space, driver cooling, etc. For example, small drivers have different issues than taller drivers like Mark Webber, so this all flows through into the development of the car.

Luckily, Porsche hires the drivers and they don’t depend on sponsorship of drivers as many teams do in F1. So, yes, I did get paid and it was enough to buy me breakfast the next day. ;)

Many because Audi’s a tough competitor, but I think our hybrid concept at Porsche and our aero were very good this year. Not to forget the drivers who did a better job. ;)

Our race cars are not meant to be going onto the road. It’s just parts of those cars such as our hybrid system we will see in the future on road cars of Porsche.

Write the team manager an email - maybe he wants to do something? Who knows? ;)

Yes. Porsche is the brand for Le Mans, so I think I am at this brand in FIA WEC. Generally, there are only two brands that you connect with fast cars and racing as a child, and that’s Ferrari and Porsche.

I would say 90% is natural and feeling and 10% you can work on to just get the precision into it.

It’s experience that helps. There are drivers who struggle more at night and there are drivers who struggle less at night. I’m luckily one of the drivers who doesn’t struggle at night. We drive a lot of curvy roads in Switzerland at night, so maybe that helps me. Who knows?

Then what do I do then? :) If you can offer me a better one, then we can talk.
