I just bought a full size pickup. I bought an F150 with a 5.0L. Maybe a tad less power than an Ecoboost, but it fits the bill for my occasional hauling and towing.
I remember when the Cummins diesel in the Ram made 150 hp.
It actually warms my heart to see a company producing an engine based on being overbuilt and long lasting at the expense of outright power or sexiness.
If you’re running a fleet that you replace every 3-4 years, then diesels longevity and fuel economy advantages become irrelevant and the gasoline engine simply costs less. However if I was a long term fleet operator, diesel is the way to go.
Reliability, and lower compression to run on the cheapest gasoline. Cost/mile figures are a big deal to fleet buyers so getting those cost numbers down is important.
Maxima and Altima have overlapped since the 2002 Altima refresh. It hasn’t made sense in a long time.
I think they should have sidewalks along highways for low-speed traffic (where I live it’s common to see pedestrians walking along the edges of the highways because it’s the only realistic way of getting to a lot of places in town, turns a 5-hour trip into a 2-hour one in many cases. though I also think every road…
They’ll rot out, even if you cut them open and weld on some 1/8" wall steel square tube as replacements?
Seriously David, you need to get this vehicle to 100% and baby it as a forever car. It’s too close to greatness.
David PLEASE do some rust repair and prevention. Nothing serious. Just spray the underside with rust reformer and throw some bed liner to keep the rust at bay.

Everybody assumes Jesse didn’t stop because he didn’t want to hand over the keys to his car after losing to Johnny Tran, but if you think about it, the real reason is obvious. He didn’t stop because he couldn’t stop. He had already removed the Jetta’s brakes for weight reduction.
In terms of terriblenss, the Eclipse eclipsed the Jetta.
Frankie Muniz from “Malcom in the Middle” owned this car when he was 16 and was allegedly stopped by the police 3 times in one day.
The bigger mystery is why is anyone paying that much attention, who are they, and do they represent some sort of missing link?
BOOOOOOOO, BOOOOO this is a bad take. These movies are fun, and cheesy and perfect.
Buy and use your own helmet.
Yeah, but that’s Bermuda. We’re talking Park Slope Brooklyn here. You share a helmet with someone in this neighborhood, you’re sharing it with their seven year-old son...
Also, if you have your own helmet, you’ll know if it’s been dropped or not.
