Thats what helps all the other small trucks take the sheets over the wheelwells with either 2x4s across the bed or like chevys new bed rack system. The honda makes it seem like you done need to do anything special because they went ahead and raised the bed.

i think he was getting at the reason you see large buttons and simple control on truck is - people wearing gloves and using the controls. Even the steering wheel controls look too small for that. unless your colorado is diesel it suffers from the same issues as the honda. Why go for an almost truck when the price is more than a real one and the gas mileage is the same.
