I’m waiting for Jon Stewart’s reaction. He was asked about the rumors at an event a few years ago and he seemed...aggressively ignorant? He claimed not to have heard the chatter, which seems unlikely but not impossible, before calling CK a “wonderful guy” or some such.

I’ve worked on behalf of many women that survived or were working hard to survive domestic violence. It really, really worries me that Mel B dissolved the restraining order against her husband. Really worries me.

My favorite take was the Alabama GOP guy who used Mary and Joseph as an example of a grown ass man getting down with a teenager, apparently forgetting the whole Virgin Birth thing.

You’re both women, though, and everyone knows that women only count as valid sources when they speak in groups of at least five. If the women are unchaste, then they must speak in groups of ten or more for their accounts to be considered seriously.

I’ve kind of avoided this story for triggering personal reasons, so this is the first time I’ve read it. I’m crying for what that girl and her family have been put through. I hope they find peace and healing.

If they thought she was telling the truth, I don’t know if they would mind all that much. I mean, we had Trump on tape bragging about sexual assault and all he had to do was grumble out a resentful apology and he was good to go.

I don’t think this will hurt Moore at all. I think voters will believe this woman is lying.
