The last gen Mustang GT500. By most accounts it couldn’t handle the power due to the ox-cart of a chassis it had. 650hp and 200 mph in an otherwise $25k car.

to that dickhead in the video, you should be ticketed for driving that stanced piece of shit on the road. Stupidity should cost you.

Even with standard doors, the Mark VIII was much cooler than any Tesla will ever be.

Supercharger? Where? I seeing is an over-carbed, tunnel-rammed, small block. Sounds nice, though. 180 degree headers, maybe? That whine you’re thinking might be a supercharger is probably a gear drive for the camshaft.

They would do it while just driving the cars at pace speed, the the exhaust from said cars would blow the bb’s into the infield grass.

Miata is always the answer.

Excellent photos! Makes me happy to see Jalopnik showcasing better photos in their stories.

Also, shame on all of you for the Ford Indigo not being on this list.

The new Raptor’s powerplant won’t share anything with the current 3.5L other than the displacement. It will share a block with the new Ford GT.

haha, it’s a sticker that says get more low in German. Stuck it on for fun, I’ll probably take it off when I debadge the car and do winter prep in a month or so.

No, not at all. Depending on the speed you’re going, it changes how much the steering wheel turn translates to actual wheel turning. It’s like having an automatic transmission in between the steering wheel and the steering column.

As far as that goes, this is true of most modern cars, in which features like DSC and ABS take your input, run it through the computer (which is aware of current conditions) and alter your input into a more desirable (as far as the car is concerned, anyway) output.

Fly-by-wire?

So basically it’s a pilot augmentation system, like on a fighter? Remember you’re no longer flying/driving, your offering suggestion for where the computer ultimately decides to go.

Volkswagen Blue Sport roadster. Mid engine and TDI. Was scheduled for 2013, but never happened. Thanks global financial collapse.
