I don’t think conflating all out war with the relatively modest political ideology differences most people have is going to get us anywhere.

Don’t be the asshole who thinks “We want to kill Black people” and “We want civil rights” in any way accurately frames the political divide.

That’s a disingenuous cartoon, and you know it. A few thousand (heck, even tens of thousands) of racists are a drop in the bucket compared to the number of actual conservatives in this country. Racism is bad and should be eliminated. But this type of cartoon is divisive and attempts to reduce conservative beliefs to a

If you’re from the West Coast, it’s even worse than an age thing. We see him as an East Coast act, and I’ve never heard our classic rock radio stations play him. His concerts do well here (lot of East Coast transplants), but no one raised here was saying ‘gotta get those Springsteen tickets’. Our Springsteen is Tom

Slamming doors isn’t about what it can take, it’s about how much more than it needs.

People’s idea of what a door slam is varies though. My wife is always on me about slamming our car doors. To me, I’m just shutting them. No extra push is given. Trust me, the vehicle can take it.

I silently judge people who don’t use turn signals anytime they should.  Occasionally, if I’m irritated enough, I not so silently judge them with my horn.

A million percent yes.  How hard is it?

Everything you just typed applies to the Jeep Wrangler (or Jeep brand) as well, so it all makes sense :)

Don’t slam the doors and the trunk/hatch!

Everyone in a seatbelt, every time. Before I even start rolling. I agree with a lot of the other stuff about feet and dash, and side seat driving, and especially nothing like drugs or alcohol or smoking in my car (though it’s never been something I’ve ever had to worry about).

Fellow turn signal enthusiast here. It always feels great to cross paths with someone who uses their indicators correctly, especially when it allows for a better traffic flow (intersections, roundabouts, etc). I always mentally hi-five those drivers.

Hold on a minute...you’re talking about a few THOUSAND complete idiots as one “side” in our two-party system??? Trump got 74,200,000 votes. Also, keep in mind that everyone voted BEFORE the capitol riot. VERY FEW Republicans support what happened in D.C., Qanon, or any of that stupid shit.

Signalling my intentions for each and every turn. Whether it be coming back into the right line after overtaking someone on the interstate, my intentions to exit a ramp ... even if it is an exit only lane, or merging into traffic from an on ramp, I do my very best to use my signal to make sure that the person behind

I never saw myself as a dude who daily drives a crossover or SUV, because I always just assumed a wagon would do the job.

*crosses finger*

With just about every manufacturer obsessed with coining a corporate face and striving for predictable, tedious design consistency across their entire fleet, I can’t overstate how refreshing it is to see Hyundai forge this path of making wildly unique cars.

“Ricer.” Growing up in the immediate aftermath of The Fast and the Furious, it was all about the ricers.

OP

This is definitely gonna be one of those situations where I see minimal differences and people come out of the woodwork to loudly proclaim what an uncultured philistine I am for failing to notice that all the things that seriously look basically the same are, in fact, wildly and dramatically different.
