As far as Full Metal Jacket is concerned the first 45 minutes of that movie is just flat out amazing, after that it just falls flat on its face and becomes a mediocre war movie.

Yes Sprecher is still very good, the restaurant that they have in the Wisconsin Dells is excellent.
