Take the high road, and pity them. These are the people who believe the Republican theme of “be afraid!” They’re afraid of so many things: black people, brown people, taxes, immigrants, Muslims, atheists, strong women, the poor and disadvantaged, losing their guns, the war on Christmas, the war on Christians, death

It’s just human nature. It takes a special person to admit to him/herself that they have been wrong. Trump’s followers are a different kind of “special.”

Yes, in Florida absentee (vote-by-mail) ballots, the voter signs the outside of the envelope (not the ballot itself). The office of each county’s Supervisor of Elections compares the signature on each envelope with the signature they have on file for your registration. Very dedicated staff.

“I wasn’t trespassing, I wasn’t engaging in a riot, I was doing my job as a journalist by covering a violent attack on Native American protesters.”

There are some people who really should not vote, ever, because they cannot make rational choices about anything important. I would include people who want the gummint to keep its hands off of Medicare, people in a persistent vegetative state, and this guy.

Except that his “policies,” such as they are, are expected to cut revenue $3-10 trillion over 10 years. That’s money that doesn’t go to schools, roads, services, or just increases the national debt in a huge way. His tax cuts are heavily weighted to the very wealthy (like himself). They won’t improves “all of our

Everyone who needs help at Home Depot is invisible. Even if you push that little “help” button over and over. That’s one reason I shop at Lowe’s.

She is a horrible person, because she knowingly propagates Trump’s dishonest nonsense for her own personal gain. She is a firehose of half-truths and she knows exactly what she’s doing. She is not a victim of Trump, but a well-paid volunteer. She is smarter than him, but certainly no better. She is deplorable.

He doesn’t have anything in mind. He’s just spouting stuff his gomer supporters think is “tough” and “manly.” He doesn’t know how tariffs work, and that they can be applied both ways.

I could only watch for 30 seconds. She’s stoopid.

Crack pipe! You can get a room at the Manhattan Waldorf-Astoria for $370 a night. So, go camping in this four-wheeled mini-kitchen, or stay at the Waldorf for six months straight?

Question: Are there any options for getting the speakers off of the desktop, such as attaching to the sides of a large monitor (and not looking like a jury-rig)? I keep my desktop top is pretty clean (except for the cat, who wants to help me type right now). When I’ve had speakers sitting on my desk before, I never

But they saved the cat!

Stuck behind a school bus, cool cars lose their cool. Oh, the shame!

If you’re in a swing state (FL, PA, OH, VA, NC) please do not sit this out. Do not waste your vote on a third-party candidate who really can’t win. Either way is one less vote for Hillary, and one step closer to Trump winning the election. The aftermath of his Presidency will affect your life for decades. Yes, really.

Since this is Jalopnik, I’ll give myself permission to be a pedantic nerd: I’m pretty sure that’s a TR3A or 3B. Those models have the “smiley” grille; the original TR3 had a not-so-wide “guppy mouth” grille. A cool little automobile; my Dad had a 3.

Agree, except for the “book-smart” part. There’s no IQ test for Congress!

Need more cool photos! That said, pictures don’t convey the sense of “huge” when you’re looking around inside. The best view is to take the elevator to the upper levels, walk out on a gangway, and look down. People look like fleas (even smaller than ants), and a stacked Space Shuttle looks like a Matchbox toy. Wow.

If it’s racist, Trump probably said it.

The second amendment does not exist to protect yourself. It permits a militia to be armed to protect a free State. So forget that argument.
