I also have the OG darkplates, and they’re so, so, so, so, so, so much better than the stock ones and the matte vinyl sticker they come with has saved my ps5 from looking like a gaudy, fingerprint-covered mess.

I love Dbrand, when their switch skins left switches damaged they pulled them before release and refunded pre-orders until they found a proper way to make them. I have had a few different skins from them and they’re always great.

PSA (to everyone, just piggybacking off this): Retro Bit makes a nice Bluetooth 6-button Genesis controller that I would recommend. Looks and feels like an original Genesis pad, but has rumble and shoulder buttons added. I used it to play Hollow Knight and it was great. It’s also cheaper than the Nintendo Online one.

White Mage is a good option if you want to give it a shot. You’re pure healing power, so it’s not as complicated as dealing with a pet or drawing cards for damage buffs.

I think it’s a reference to “The Green Ribbon”, a short story where a woman wears a ribbon around her neck for her entire life. At the end of the story it’s revealed that the ribbon is the only thing keeping her head attached. The idea being that that’s what’s happening with Axel and his shirt here.

Same thing here. Not that I think it won’t be fine, but the last Valve hardware I bought (Steam Controller) didn’t have a rock solid build quality imo. It was ok, but nothing more. It felt a bit flimsier than all the other controllers I own.
