I haven't played Soul Calibur since SC3; arguably the one the highest skill ceiling. Imagine my disappointment when I couldn't rebound guard impacts back and forth several times. Or at the very least, the guard impact gave a reliable option to reverse the momentum of a fight against overly aggressive opponents.
