In the third pic, you can just see the edge of it on top of the pole to the right, so it's not entirely unsupported, it just looks that way in #2.

If you mean the second picture in that slide show, it looks like a taxidermy form to me, which that guy's lab seemed to have a bunch of. The link you gave starts at the beginning, so if you meant some other pig-thing, sorry but I couldn't be bothered to look through all 82 pictures for pigs!
