Financial insecurity IS abusive. I’m not saying he’s a monster and you should flee, but he can’t just think about himself even when he’s having problems. Stranding yourself and your spouse without enough money doesn’t solve any problems.

I don’t think you can interact with her on this issue. She, and others like her, are not operating from a rational place in this matter; they seem to be in an alternate universe.

So, I’m low grade angry with my husband.  He overspent, leaving me with little in the account.  We have different financial styles and I’m struggling.  He’s also a thrift shop guy and has filled up every surface with stuff.  It feels like he’s not looking out for my well being and security.  Ugh, mawaige.

Happy Thanksgiving weekend! Some of the family arrived yesterday morning and my boy & his fiancee arrive tomorrow! I haven’t seen him since our arid trip in April so I’m very excited!
