I have found that many men in my life do not understand that there is a tailor service at pretty much every dry cleaner and that it is extremely cheap to get simple things done. They seem to think that there is some special tailoring store that they have never heard about and it’s for millionaires only.

I’m very much hoping President Kamala Harris will usher in a public option.

I second! I have a massive sweet tooth as an adult, but I never drink soda or juice now and my parents were ridiculously restrictive on everything sweet in our house. That included watering down juice. I’ll never forget the first time I drank Kool Aid at someone else’s house and thought I’d tasted the nectar of the

Thanks for this! It’s so hard to think about to be honest. You’re definitely right though, the comfort makes it difficult for sure! I’m still in a bouncing back and forth between both options place. I don’t know when I will be ready or know for sure how I feel...hopefully soon!

After I break up with her I might try Tinder to see if I can find myself some casual hookups. And I just shotgunned the rest of my scotch and soda on your behalf!

Yes. I’m learning more and more that I’m a gigantic asshole, haha. I kind of want your life. The serial monogamy is exhausting. I just want to screw.

What happened to things being lined?! Why do I want to buy a dress if I have to buy something else to be able to wear it?

I went through a serious break-up last year, and after a couple of months I started dating again. Since then, I’ve been in string of ultimately unappealing monogamous relationships, but I don’t know how to break the cycle of serial monogamy. I’m in one right now, and she told me she’s falling in love with me last

Oh, God, I remember those nights. The ex-fiance and I broke up about two years ago, and there were some really rough times for a good six months. We’d been together for over ten years and for a while I didn’t quite know how to be ‘me’ without also being part of ‘we’. But as time moved on, I started to create memories

Yay books!

Well, I’m less than two weeks out from my operation, and this weekend is being spent cooking and freezing meals. Next week will be devoted to picking up the living room, where I’ll be basically living on the chaise lounge for several weeks post-op. I have my pre-op appointment this week, then Kidlet’s bday is Thursday

Shameless brag thread: I finished 2nd out of 79 women in a triathlon today!

Hi all! Haven’t posted in awhile. It’s been a stressful few months with my mother in law passing away. :( I am trying to be there for my husband but it’s a struggle. I am sad too ya know? I am trying to make sure that everything is running smoothly but I am so stressed out.

I made a half recipe of chocolate chip cookie dough, and half a recipe of chocolate cookie dough with white chocolate chips, rolled them into logs the same size, squished one end down on each, and squished them together to (hopefully) make yin yang cookies. We’ll see when I slice and bake them tomorrow.

It’s been rainy and stormy and wet and dark and kinda miserable all day. I was going to do some cleaning and some self care, but all I’ve done is take a nap and a load of laundry. I told myself that this is okay, that the day isn’t over yet, and that I have another day to get things done.

I thought it was just Kane’s political platform.

Stop carrying your negative emotions in your uterus and you may have an easier time. Once you push them out you will be able to access your power better. I keep all of my negative emotions in my anus, so I can get rid of them daily.

Very unfortunate samesies.

  • The Daily Beast identified New Hampshire state representative Robert Fisher (R) as the likely individual behind Reddit’s “Red Pill” forum, a breeding ground for misogynists. Among other musings, Fisher wrote: “I’m going to say it—Rape isn’t an absolute bad, because the rapist I think probably likes it a lot.”

Canada won’t let us flood their market with our goods at lower prices! terrible! Oh, and buy American only! They need to buy our stuff, we won’t buy theirs!
