"No! No more talk! We go in! We kill! Kill! We kill 'em! They kill us, we kill them! Kill 'em! Kill 'em! Kill! Kill!"

Who run IO9?

Yeah, who is this a "fantastic win" for? Why are we developing future Iranian scientists? I'm open to Basket Weaving 101 but that's about it.

Why would anyone have a problem with this ban? Makes sense to me.

I'm still continually amazed that the world survived the Cold War.

Yeah, totally. I grew up _knowing_ that the war was coming and we were all going to be radioactive ash. Kind of made it hard to plan for the future, you know?

The Cold War was EVERYWHERE in the 80's, I spent most of middle school fighting it. (When I wasn't fighting dragons.)

The younger generation just don't grasp how things were in the '80's. We were the good guys, the USSR the evil empire and people honestly thought WWIII was not only likely but totally inevitable. Sure, we had glasnost rising but still seemed it would always be that way so when the Berlin Wall fell and the Cold War

It let's you play the entire game like you are in Tranquillity Lane without feeling guilty.

After World War II and various postcolonialist events, Britain went from a mighty empire that straddled the world, to an economically-depressed sideshow player in the new Great Game between the superpowers. James Bond and the 50s and 60s British spy fiction that followed him was new national myth-making: showing that

I've just worked under the assumption that not only is 007 a code name, so is James Bond. When the first Bond ages out of the service or dies, a new agent takes his place. This new agent takes over the identity, missions, contacts and life of 007 and continues on.

I'm guilty as charged for doing it some times, but come on man. Pay your $8 to contribute on their effort of producing an awesome show.

Oh man, RS was the ultimate toy store for me as a young teen. Realistic CB radios and Archer Space Patrol walkie-talkies, police scanners, shortwave radios, 150-in-1 Electronic Kits, Micronta Multitesters, talking LED alarm clocks, Optimus speakers, Battery of the Month Club and in 1980 or so - The TRS-80 (the

Radio Shack was the Wild West, the Frontier of electronics technology. And then the likes of Apple and all the others moved in and Astroturfed the Great Plains. There will never again be a time like that.

The truth is that Radio Shack lost it's way a long time ago. While they tried to expand into a more consumer friendly space like Best Buy, they didn't have the real estate to support the new business model. Best Buy wins in the consumer space. Frys & Micro Center are king of the consumer/geek space.

It's Friday and it's payday! I'm feeling like a rich man!

I work in a law firm and we fax all the time. A lot of times we also email the documents but one of the few court approved methods of serving someone is by fax.

In my opinion, the best feature of the ill-fated Atari Jaguar was this very thing. The game Alien VS Predator even had one for playing as a human, one for playing as an Alien, and one for playing as a Predator.
