I don’t get being “peeved” about a recall. They figured out that there was a problem, they identified the vehicles potentially affected, and they are going to fix the problem. As opposed to days past when they would have probably just ignored the problem until/unless a bunch of people died. There is NO company today

This can work! But it’s a delicate dance...

Fat people on planes have the biggest victim complex I have ever encountered.

No, LouAnn...you don’t have the right to take up half my seat with your fucking thigh. Same goes to you Ronald, I don’t need your ass sweat leaking all over me because you never could say no the all you can eat at the Golden Corral.

“I wanted to travel internationally, but then I realized that was still to close to goddamn Ohio. So I guess I have to go to space instead. It’s the only way I can be assured to not have to deal with anyone from .... wait a second ... this other astronaut is ALSO FROM FUCKING OHIO? I’m going for a (space) walk.”

None. They can kiss my ass.

I would buy a S3 hatchback without hesitation if it came here. A more attractive, better featured Golf R with an interior that doesn’t frustrate the hell out of you. The sedan version doesn’t excite me nearly as much.

For reference, here’s the proper Audi A3 that the rest of the world get.

Pbbbbbbt, I can fit, like, 30 people easy in the back of a Uhaul.

Just get 3.  You’re renting 2 cars already.  What’s another one.

The feel of the turn signal/wiper stalks. There’s nothing more satisfying than a well engineered turn signal. Current Mazdas have a healthy weight to them that is EXTERMELY satisfying to use.

Oof, I get that joke and it is mean as hell. Have a star.

Thanks Sackler family!

Mine is actually a complaint, specifically about German cars: They change their taillights unnecessarily for the US market and remove amber rear turn signals. I hate the “brake doubles as turn signal” look; it’s lazy and cheap.

I don’t know man... plenty of vape clouds rolling out of 350/370 Z’s around these parts too...

So you don’t have to start vaping

I like how my first Spitfire did it. The switch was also a hand pump. Push for a squirt. My current Spitfire is electric though. Electric works waaay better, though Spitfire wipers are somewhat theoretical. So is the top, so I never drive it in the rain anyway.

Never had to deal with that. From what I’ve read, there was supposed to be a special valve on the spare that kept it from running too low. Wasn’t there was also a pump under the dash so you could pump up the spare from the driver’s seat?

How's that boot taste getting shoved down your throat?

As an owner of a 2013 Land Cruiser with the V8, I can tell you that it is indeed thirsty (overall I’m getting about 14-15 mpg), but it is in no way gutless.  380 HP and 400 ft-lbs of torque.  That takes the ~5,800 lb 200 from 0 to 60 in the mid 6 second range.  That is plenty fast for me.

I’ve never heard of a crankshaft cradle before so I had to do some research. So rather than individual main caps they run a one piece, girdle-type deal such as the one attached here? You learn something new every day!
