A ruler denotes that units of measure were in use...it was likely just a straight edge

Ha! In a Viper don’t you only need two gears before getting into arrest me speed territory? Money shot is less of a concern vs taking off in first right into a wall 🫣

Yes it is a Runza!!

C4s use a front hinged accelerator pedal that is being blocked by the steering wheel in the images provided. Well that, or your conspiracy theory that the owner not only talks about the shifts of a 6-speed manual box, but also he swapped in an automatic into a manual-only version of a car and is hoping to hoodwink the

RTFM yourself as it doesn’t say what you think it does. Your the DA here.

So the answer to the original question is “yes, the Nissan Z has a speed limiter installed, but it was removed for the ‘stock’ test.” or at least that is the non-asshat way to respond, but apparently you are just that special to think you be the smartest one in the room and can talk down to others. Cool.

I think the reason for the question is why would Nissan claim it has a 155mph top speed if they didn’t have a limiter...31mph faster is a substantial difference for them to sandbag.

(likely unpopular opinion)

Lancia Thema 8.32 ...a FWD executive car that had a Ferrari-sourced V8 stuffed into it. (Yeah yeah these were really nose-heavy dogs, but such an “on paper” factory hotrod)

All the images I find for the ‘22 GLI show redlines at ~6500 (at least starting there... maybe full redlines at 7k; Golf R’s show 6500 as well), so might be 7500rpm/Matt Farrah was conflating rom a different model/vehicle or it was in reference to some other aspect of the motor such as the fuel cutoff? Intriguing

That's how technology ALWAYS starts. Try not to judge the progress by how it's initiated, but on the merits of the technology itself.

Visibility upgrades for night driving, full stop.

B Spec Baby!!!!!

The difference is you treat comments as an equal part of the experience and where you should find the answer (that’s Reddit). The expectation is that we are reading articles by journalists, that at least try and answer the basic questions that are a Google search away. Comments are a way to add value, but are also a

Addictions are hard.

I'm sorry you feel so embarrassed driving your Crosstrek that you resort to wearing a paper bag in your head. Trust me, no one is paying attention to you because you are that invisible.

2 seaters on long trips never have given me the feeling of comfort... Particularly 5-800 mile rides as the OP wants.

Okay, commie. The saying goes “answer the question asked, not the one you have an answer for.”

Ehh...250ish HP, 6-speed manual and the rare optional Elite Package (rear “buckets” ) make it have some fizz on it’s downward trajectory. Personally I'd prefer the Skyline nee G35 available in the same time frame, but it had merits.

I’m not opposed to being offered the opportunity to hand out snacks and refreshments in lieu of a further discounted rates or perks on my travels.
