Using the “well they did something dangerous 50+ years ago so different dangerous activity is okay now” defense is such flawed logic. Cars used to not have seat belts, but it doesn’t also mean it’s okay not to use them now when cars have them. This law is poorly worded but I completely support trying to keep some

Does splitting off “fees” out of the sale price mean that money is subjected to different (or no) taxes? As a consumer we don’t typically pay taxes on “fees” and laws are in place to prevent this from occurring (they can’t bury the fees in the price and must show the consumer these breakdowns).

Mazda still has the 3 sedan/hatch combo and the supposed new I6 RWD 6 coming (waiting with bated breath on that one) so they don’t have a CUV only lineup. Mazda also doesn’t have other brands it shares platforms across so not much of a comparison with Buick IMO.

Really curious why the M50 (and other higher-performance models of a a from different manufacturers) doesn’t have a “feature” to disengage the front motor or other decreased performance so that you could get as near as good of range as their lesser brethren models. I get the extra weight and parasitic drag of

I know what you are saying, but it was Pyrex®.

I’d also be surprised at the side glass if it wasn’t for a recent experience with a Pyrex casserole dish that absolutely shattered when a small 1/4 cup glass spice jar fell about 18" onto it. Sometimes it’s just takes hitting something in the right spot for it all to go wrong. (My wife and I are currently packing to

Nope, if anything I missed this point that adds to it... The PA announcement to put phones in airplane mode was made over the intercom after the door was closed (15 minutes post incident). FA in aisle was doing this way ahead of actual FAA rules and it was her doing it way in advance of FAA regulations (door closed =

It was the last text I sent not the only one... so I was listening and knew I needed to turn off my phone. The tone and demeanor of the flight attendant was completely uncalled for is my point, particularly the “I can remove you” comment. I was absolutely polite so it just was jaw dropping for anyone to try and make

I’ve had exactly one flight where I’ve felt a flight attendant was completely unreasonable and was on a “power trip”...Sun Country Airlines Minneapolis to DC. Plane was finishing boarding and flight attendant was going up the aisle to “inform” everyone the door was closed and to turn off the cellulars. As they got to

Omaha sits along the Missouri River which created bluffs and various hilly sections from flooding over millennia. The big center section of the state is very flat, but the Eastern edge along the Missouri and Northwest section both have some hilly areas. It’s not San Francisco type hills and not many fun roads, but

If a Tesla “driver" is not paying attention do they still hear the sound of the crash?

Tesla’s are limited to 155-160ish mph.

It’s about 19 minutes to run the tank out at max speed in a Veyron. Plus, still easier to refill the Bugatti compared to a Tesla.

Asking maximum coin and couldn't be bothered to even wipe off the hand prints on the engine cover? Lolz ND

I would think their volume to production capacity is a similar ratio to larger manufacturers (everything is less as they all want to run as close to full capacity as possible). If anything, BMW and other European manufacturers probably leave production slots open for MTO orders since they have built a business

I guess I don’t see a big difference in a shipping container vs a car in a carrier so my presumptive to go on. Why do you think business size really matters?

FWIW ~10-14 weeks for frozen food shipments from SE Asia from departure ports to East coast arrival ports. Back of napkin guesswork ... 3 months to ship + 1 month to transport/unload/prep at dealership leaves me with....2 month lead time to put into production schedule (not like it goes to the front of the line for

Teletubbies fans were extremely disappointed with the result

Somewhat true: T5 + Manuals have always held there value more than their 2.4i brethren (which used to go for ~$7k for similar mileage). Add AWD and these are rarest of the bunch (except for V50 version). It’s overpriced by about $4k IMO, but was NEVER a $5k car for this layout.

That lack of confidence is exactly why you shouldn’t consider yourself a better than average driver.
