This. The more they sell brings Toyota closer to the “black” on GR Yaris. As far as everything I've read, the development cost is currently more than the likely amount they plan on selling to recoup those costs.

Toyota and Honda cracked the Hybrid code early and have set themselves up for success in this area, which seems to be the perfect springboard to full EV. Sure, new platforms are necessary when fully removing ICE, but for established businesses this seems like a non-issue.

This is not Subaru’s 5 lug 6-spoke hot garbage, just the choice of two wheel styles. Both are cohesive and do play together... maybe I just want to see more of that split 4-spoke more so than the 5er

I like the look, but can't get over the split 4-spoke rear wheel vs. the off-center split 5-spoke fronts... I love both wheel designs, just separately. 

Given the 3 6'2" individuals + 1 more + 55lb dog I think a new Tiguan would accommodate those lengths of individuals better vs the GSW/Alltrak option. They sound like they could use a full size up from a Civic, not a +1/3 size bigger with massive rear storage.

As a third or fourth car I always found the 2500 miles to be quite a bit for a once/twice a month car.

There are plenty of other persuasive techniques that can be used that are disruptive and effective, just not putting people into situations where the safety of everyone is at risk to some degree. Unplanned road closures create very volatile situations between random people and unfortunately can lead to fight or flight…

You can, you know, inconvenience the law makers and the enforcers of the laws, not every fellow citizens who may not be complicit in whatever it is you are protesting. You can do one without the other and it feels like that’s the major point here (in regards to major road blockages such as interstates). 

The fan speed control has an Auto setting, so it’s manual temperature (via the dial) but will adjust accordingly once the sensor reads that temperature. There’s just no digital temperature number, everything else is similar to any other automatic climate control system.
