When he says “you people” he means auto enthusiasts.  Because he clearly isn’t one...I’m convinced he’s here purely to offer a contrarian view, ie what the other side thinks.

This makes sense anyone with the slightest inclination when it comes to understanding economics or common sense. Anyone with a basic knowledge of consumer behavior would have predicted this.

And even if you don’t sell, buying a truck that last 200K miles or whatever is what a lot of people want. In uncertain times, a low-optioned pickup with a smaller engine is a great choice from a cost perspective.

I’d take it, but I still would pay the thing off the day the warranty runs out. Payments or repairs, never both on the same car for me. If I can’t pay it off in within the factory warranty terms, I can’t afford that car.

When I started reading this,I was convinced that,by the end of the story,it was some comedy of errors and maybe FCA came and picked it up by mistake or something.
