Something hit too close to home?

I’m asserting that people who are living paycheck to paycheck, would not be living paycheck to paycheck if they didn’t owe money to banks and credit cards. And if they’re already living paycheck to paycheck, taking out a loan to buy a car is a monumentally bad idea that can and will, end badly.
I’m really impressed with Erik Shilling today. He usually has shit takes on anything that relates to money but this piece was down right objective, informational, and made a logical inference!
Say it with me:
PEOPLE WHO ARE LIVING PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK HAVE NO BUSINESS BORROWING MONEY IN THE FIRST PLACE! In fact, they probably wouldn’t be living paycheck to paycheck if they hadn’t borrowed money to buy stuff they couldn’t afford, to impress people they don’t like, in the first place!
Everybody has made stupid…
I really hope this goes down as CP by the biggest margin in the history of NPOCP!
The X7 really isn’t that much of a gas guzzler. The 6 cylinder is remarkably efficient, given its size and fleet-footedness.
Here’s the ferrari code for my build. Just want to state that ALL Ferrari should have Daytona seats.
The seller’s asking price is not out of wack with the market, but I voted CP because the market is wrong on this one. I always think about substitutes in cases like this, and there are plenty of better looking and driving cars for $20k or less. Examples: A later year first gen Boxster, maybe even a Boxster S. A first…
Hey, where’s you get the headline picture for this piece? That is Dillon Brothers Harley Davidson in Omaha, NE. 3838 N. HWS Cleveland Boulevard! Pretty cool!
AND ANOTHER THING! Jeep Wranglers should have, and only have, six cylinders that are arranged in a straight line. Every V6 they have ever dropped in a Wrangler has been the wrong engine for that vehicle.
Seeing lots of chatter about I6's with regards to packaging in the comments. Lemme tell you something about I6 packaging, my mom’s Volvo XC60 (not a very large vehicle) has a transverse I6 and that thing has the turning radius of the Carnival Victory cruise liner. Holy crap! Making matters worse, are its 19" wheels.
Co…
But that’s okay, because he drives a Jaaaaaaag.
Wrong. People who drop $90k on a third (or fourth) car like this think a lot about $44k. It’s why they had the money to spend in the first place.
Just a quick note- the 4 cylinder was not a choice in 2016.
Not all of the time. Many VC’s don’t cash out all of their chips until right about the time the share price doubles a couple of days after the IPO. The trick is to hype the ever loving crap out of it. If you liked Blue Apron at $140, you’ll love it at $12. If you liked Lyft at $65, you’ll love it at $30.
If you liked…
Lincoln’s 400 horses seem to be either those fatter, lazier horses or three legged horses
you know, for <$5k this will be a perfect commuter car for a high school kid.
Thank you for saying this so that I didn’t have to. VC’s know what they’re doing and they are aware of the risk associated with investing in an EV “manufacturer”.
The best any EV startup can hope for is a huge cash infusion by an established OEM, followed by a buyout. COUGH*RIVIAN*COUGH
Neutral: I’m pretty sure the Ford GT is about as bad as it gets.
