I don’t see Genesis eliminating the 5.0 from the G80. The Genesis reps at the Chicago auto show mentioned the “naturally aspirated V8" and the “luxury driving experience that comes with a naturally aspirated V8" several times.

While I find my source for the classification, acknowledging the possibility that I am wrong, check out the F series cabs. It’s well documented, that when Ford switched to the aluminum bodies, the F-150, 250,350, and 450, began using the same cab. The dash boards and gauge clusters are different, but that’s all.

S2000s are cool, and V8s are cool. And this LS swapped S2000 is cool. That doesn’t make it worth more than any S2000 that is in good shape. Look past the V8, and this is a beat up S2000, undoubtedly with some serious gremlins lurking underneath. I’d pay $12-$14k though.
