Just popping my head in here to say - that's a great dress from what I can see from the back!

It's kinda limited to south and central Ontario. There are even stores which sell it by the scoop during the summer, especially if you go north of Toronto, toward cottage country.
I've seen this at a local Asian grocery store, but never tried it. Also, cheese ice cream.
Oh nice. Ice cream made with real cream is so good. Here in my part of Ontario, we have Kawartha Dairy ice cream which is made that way as well, and is great.
I don't know where you live, but here in Canada, Chapman's still makes pistachio ice cream. Haagen Dazs also has a pistachio, though I've only seen it once, ever, I think.
Pistachio ice cream used to be more common when I was a kid, and is actually very good. But yeah, North Americans don't really do savoury desserts.
Sounds like we're pretty well in agreement on those two flavours. I enjoyed green tea ice cream. Red bean, not so much. But the weirdness of Japanese food by North Anerican standards is hard to overstate.
I dunno, this is a country where red bean and green tea are popular enough ice cream flavours that I've had them in Japanese restaurants in Canada. So the desired tastes are clearly significantly different from white North American tastes.
I definitely had that in mind as part of developing emotionally, yes. Lots of work to be done on that. I could argue we've made progress considering people who have genetic deformities don't get disowned or put into freak shows anymore, even where medical science doesn't cure them.
Perfect implies a finished state, with no improvement possible. One of the greatest strengths of humans is our ability to change and adapt to whatever hardships we face.
Another possibility is that God makes these "mistakes" so that it will improve humanity as a whole.
I'm happy to see the community has reacted a lot more positively in this case - to the shock of the mayor, I'm sure.
Maybe it was intended to show the other homophobes how far he was willing to go, to give him some real "I don't tolerate that gay shit" cred.
"I'd rather have an alcoholic take care of my kids than have them see two women holding hands."
I dunno, 'roids can make people unstable enough, without adding meth-like substances. There're a lot of veeeery shady practices in the supplement industry. Spiking with substances that shouldn't be taken without a prescription, or are illegal or borderline illegal. And that's without even talking about legal…
Canada is very British in a lot of ways, still.
Big Turk is a very British thing (Turkish Delight), even if it's widely available in Canada. I know very few Canadians who like it (I did as a kid, I don't anymore) so I can understand it not being mentioned, and would be surprised if it made it to the States.
I'm not sure I can remember them well enough for a list, but I'll go with (in any order): Whole Hazelnut with White Chocolate, Cornflakes, Mousse, Praline and Marzipan (yes, I know Marzipan is weird. But if I'm in the right mood, it's really good).
Oh, I know it's widely available in Canada, but I see other Crunchie related products (such as Crunchie cookies) in "British food" sections in such stores as Bulk Barn, so it seems like it's something we get due to our relationship with British culture.
That does sound cool. Though out of the 20ish flavours my local grocery store has, I've felt pretty well served.
