That’s mostly been related to cellular tech, specifically with back-end infrastructure (e.g. stuff at cell sites and further down the chain from there).

Not unless you buy in to the xenophobic “omfg, China!!” BS that this administration is peddling.  

Considering there hasn’t been one single actual instance of Huawei spying, I’d say that any “alarm bells” would be far, far, far down on the list of concerns.

If you want some laptop aesthetics nonsnese (and I’m using this chance to rant) - my SO mother was searching for a new laptop, because her 9 year old machine is now kaputt. Her criteria - the laptop had to be pink. I shit you not.
