I like how the tech is treated live everyday normal stuff and there's not a lot of attention paid to it. I think that's partly why the movie holds up.

I hope the 'stache (and … strange music choice) are signs the movie won't be taking itself too seriously.
I found this on A&E too during a summer break. IIRC it was Night Court, followed by News Radio, and then Law & Order. Syndication reruns were awesome back then.
I am so glad I'm not the only one.
Arnett better have gotten the animation rights to Timyo.
Is he still showing up randomly at college parties?
I think the palette could be improved if Fincher came back and supervised a new transfer/master (which admittedly will probably never happen).
Yeah it was quite a shock to see. Pulling into the parking lot I was wondering why there was a open spot so close to the entrance but then I saw that and realized "Ohhhhhhhhhhh."
Got a haircut. Watched War Machine and didn't like it. Tried watching The BFG and only made it 30 minutes before turning it off. Started playing Crash Bandicoot Warped for nostalgia.
If Richard III's remains could be found under a parking lot anything is possible.
Didn't really care for it. Pitt and Hall were good. Narration was terrible. Besides shots of helicopters taking off or landing (which happens a lot) the movie looked cheap.
Ah-hem, Monty Python would like to have a word.
I imagine the false starts added to the budget woes too.
Same here!
It's a trap (of addiction due to high risks and rewards)!
"He was a fantastic singer if you could get him to stop thinking about seagulls."
Ah, that's the joke that made me realize CW was a new classic.
Highway to the Diminishing Returns Zone.
I think it comes down to respecting the original versus outright mockery of it. JS and Hot Fuzz's talent were smart enough to know audiences should laugh with the homages, not at them. Unless you go full ZAZ and embrace 4th wall breaking insanity the humor comes across as petty and mean spirited.
That opinion is straight fire.
