Hammond said a hurricane destroyed the island in Lost World iirc.

Just got back from an end of semester party for student workers. Cake, ice cream, and caramel popcorn for everyone. Someone made gluten free cookies which everyone ate out of kindness.

Well thank god nude corpses were allowed. The other rules seemed kinda sexist.

Well shit, if anyone went to the imax screening you not got two free posters and the chance to see the final shots in native imax, you got a goddamn free ticket to an advanced screening.

Pretty minor actually considering the Falcon's size.

Yeah I teared up too.

"Mr. Mayor, if you want to see a real vampire, look in the mirror!"
"I can't! I'm a vampire!"

We had a few of those, but Wargames was in a gray case with red, green, and blue stripes if I recall.

My parents recorded it off HBO too. I think it's still down in their basement somewhere, complete with the ugly maxell case.

I think it was the ultimate dvd edition that went into detail on creating the trailers. The 'Arnie is good' reveal was supposed to be a surprise to the audience, but the news leaked while in post so the "same make, same model, new mission" trailer was created to confirm the news.

I kinda enjoyed watching it, if only because poking holes in the story's logic became strangely funny. My brain finally tuned out when Connor finds nuclear batteries conveniently laying on a work bench in an assembly line seemingly built and operated by machines.

A trailer for T2 revealed Arnie was the good terminator so spoilers in trailers aren't exactly new for the series. Pretty sure Worthington was revealed as a machine in a Salvation spot too.

Eh, still looks like a Wright film. Not sure what kind of tone the movie wants to achieve.

Gonna be playing more Far Cry 4. I'm pretty hooked on it at this point, though I've noticed I have to start changing my tactics. Before I've used the bow exclusively but heavy armor troops are becoming more frequent and they don't go down with one arrow like the regulars. I'm trying to play as stealthy as possible,

Swear to god I read something within the last month that described Long almost verbatim. All I remember for sure was the speaker contrasted between her and another actor who was a joy to edit because he actually did something different each take.

There's a story that Long held up taping an episode of Cheers for several hours because she didn't think the ambiance was right. She also tried getting Kelsey Grammer fired at every chance as she thought he was a terrible actor.

Not the greatest but there were some chuckles to be had. Seems like the best ones are the oldest.

I've loved this show since it first started and I'm now just understanding how many plot lines were foreshadowed.

Echoes almost perfectly syncs with the end of 2001 if anyone didn't know. Just start it at the "Jupiter and Beyond the Infinite" insert.
