Was also a pretty great montage song in American Dad!

Well admittedly Rodriguez used one of the first digital cameras to shoot the movie, so it never really had a chance to look like actual film (Attack of the Clones, shot with the same type of camera, is the same way).

Very late to the party but I really really enjoyed the hell out of LA Noire. It's the only game I've ever platinum'd. I was going to say Ground Zeroes but the E3 TPP gameplay video just makes GZ look half baked.

Scratch that, just remembered the new dino species. Yeah that turned out to be pretty bad.

Hmm, I don't remember anything like that from the videos (then again I watched them to help go to sleep). Outside of side characters changing personalities on a whim I thought the story was okay.

Wasn't "Fun to watch, not to play" the general consensus? I watched a longplay on youtube in February and enjoyed it, though the plot kinda goes off the rails during act 4.

Now that you mention it I did notice some dialogue issues last night. It sounded like several frames of speech were missing occasionally. I figured it was just my hard drive hiccuping.

I'll be plowing through a bunch of psn games I bought during flash sales. Finished part 4 of the Back to the Future game last night so I'll start with part 5 to conclude the story. I can't remember what others thought of the games but I've had a blast with each one. If I had a complaint it's that some puzzles are too

Raid 2 for me. I redboxed it Tuesday, started watching at 7 pm, finished at 9:30, and stayed up til midnight rewatching assorted scenes.

It's interesting that Zhou compared Jurassic Park to Bay's style and not Lost World, which, after re-watching, is basically Spielberg making a Bay Film.

No mention of I, Robot? Say what you want about the film as a whole but Tudyk as Sonny was an impressive performance.

Seemed like the story wanted to say that black people could be the most homophobic (possibly through sheer ignorance) of all races, but it got lost during rewrites or something.

Wow, lossless 48khz stereo. That would be a big deal if this was the 1990s.

Has anyone else heard the new masters? I found 96/24 flac files online… somehow… and am pleasantly surprised by the quality. I've only heard the 1994 remasters before and these are basically a sonic revelation.

"Jock rock my ass, just listen to those lyrics man! It's all about love and longing-"
"BEEP BEEP?"
"…Yes and hobbits too."

Anyone else think the header photo looks off? The lone champagne bottle on the right looks cgi'd in.

Thanks for doing all the reviews! I hadn't watched the series in several years but this made me want to start at the beginning again.

Well at least it had a decent Glory homage.

Gotta give it props for being one of the few movies to turn Jeffery Dahmer into a running joke.

mmmmm… fattening.
