Yep, I knew his voice sounded familiar but couldn't remember from where.

It's honestly been a long time since I watched the prequels. Maybe my camera/cinematography knowledge was lacking at the time.
My god the visuals have aged terribly. Not just effects but the cinematography looks awful most of the time.
Definitely not as good as JP but it does have its moments. I remember when Fox showed it on tv with the hook there'd be new scenes but they just turned out to be a board meeting and introducing Roland.
"It's a walnut!"
I already quoted that, but your formatting looks better so I can't be too upset.
Avery's been on a roll lately. "This is Deputy Director Bullock reminding you that secrets are meant to be kept. Now back to the elevator music: 'Friday night it was late/ I was walking you home/ We got down to the gate/ and I was dreaming of the night.'"
I remember the book noting that Winters alone shot over 500 rounds of ammo during that skirmish. Even he was surprised when he finally checked his bandoleers.
Yep, and he changed his mind right as Ben was presenting the idea which has led to my favorite Ben line, "Go do work or I'll fire you. I am not joking."
Too many comments to go through so I'll ask: Did anyone else crack up at Dr. Saperstein doing incredibly well with his dry-cleaning transactional holding business? Really sly callback.
Well today's a good a day as any to admit that.
Say what you want about Prometheus but at least it retconned the AVP films out of existence. At times I wonder if the movie was made solely for that purpose.
One can argue the technology simply wasn't there yet for accurate airborne drops, especially over foreign soil. I think it wasn't until Market Garden's disastrous day drops that the brass realized the idea still needed work.
I like how the show gives Guarnere a bit of a soft side as the series progresses. He's a hard ass but he does have a heart, especially towards his comrades.
"I'm not a Quaker."
I wonder if there's beer on the sun…
Wouldn't be surprised considering the shout out to TNG a few weeks ago.
Avery's spiel on the anarchist's son coming for revenge had me in stitches. "…just walk up a flight of steps or find a curb, you'll be fine."
disenchantment?
I like Why We Fight for showing Easy's reaction to finding you-know-what. The one soldier telling Winters "I don't know" after Winters asked what he saw is positively chilling.
