I’m just wondering, why are they doing the buy back in Texas? If it is a non-testing state for diesel emissions. Is it still considered cheating if it wasn’t going to be tested in the first place?

I’ve been patiently waiting for the Performance Pack. Something about the styling of these cars makes me want one. I’ve driven one on the track and it falls flat on it’s face but seems to be very agile. It kills me to know it is so underpowered. If that wasn’t the case I think I would of ended up with a BRZ rather…
I’m going out on a limb here, but seeing that video suggest we continue to race illegally in the middle of cities late at night? Granted movies seem to suggest it at times but if you look at the F&F franchise they have tried to move away from the illegal street racing.
Seeing which model you own, we are talking about two different vehicles. The Speedster/VX220 were of a mid-engine rear drive platform, the Kappa platform of the Saturn Sky was front engine rear drive. It wasn’t a direct replacement but they had plenty of similarities that made it obvious the platform and drivetrain…
May I add, from what I read, the 2.0 turbocharged engine was then developed in a new platform with the aid of European engineers. Thus the Saturn Sky, Pontiac Solstice, and their Vauxhall/Opel variants were born into the Kappa platform.
I can truly relate to the GTR story, except I knew for fact my car was stock. I bought a car 900 miles away from home. My previous “fast” car had a mere 290 whp. Previously before I driven a stage II GTR in a spirited manner, so I figured I could handle something with 580 bhp.
Refer to this, VW on wide wheels with stretched tires and lots of camber. Very unsafe practice.
The sport of adding long travel suspension to trucks needs to become well known. Just in shocks I’m sure the seller is about $4k to $5k in, in suspension parts from Solo Motorsports and Atlas leafs easily another $8k to $10k. Factor in labor rates, Walker Evans and BFGs (~$2k), the truck itself, and you’ll be above…
It’s just like the 5th Gen Z/28. Remove the factory “wide body flares” and you got a hella flush stance rice rocket. Any 5th gen Camaro with the OEM Z/28 wheels looks just like that.
Two injectors per cylinder? No one mentions anything about that. I see port injection and direction injection.
Cue in The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror VI and the Attack of the 50 Foot Eyesores?
He sold the bug from the video to someone in the middle east and built another bug during house arrest.
Is it just me or does this look very similar to the Lexus RC?
The perks of living on a border city is that they have these in Mexico so I see these almost on a daily basis driving on U.S. soil. I cannot say which exact models but 1-series hatchbacks none the less.
I can totally agree with you on this article. I used to daily drive a Lexus IS300 with it barely pushing over 200 HP. That car was loads of fun and never a dull moment. I never felt the need to track the car or look for events where I felt I needed to push the car as hard as it could since it was already required on a…
Lies! It is fairly simple to make smaller holes, we make holes smaller than 2.5mm, as small as 0.6mm to be exact.
