They didn't surface to use the antenna. They first went to launching depth, then they decided to use the antenna (it's really a long cable that partially surfaces, IIRC). They were pretty close to the surface though, which is why the Tomahawk was a real threat.

I'd say it's at least as easy to press the magnet link on any torrent site. Finding what you want is no more difficult considering DRM, availability at the particular store etc.

Great points, especially with the web-series as introduction and hype machine. But as for the Marvel directors, I think they might have some nice non-compete clauses in their contracts.
