Rises just feels like a series of one-liner callbacks set to dark, ominous tones. There isn't a whole lot of actual dialogue.

I get what you're saying, but AOS is not without its nighttime soap BS. Coulson is returned from the dead! Who are Skye's REAL parents? Will she and Ward ever give in to their true feelings? Or will he continue to succumb to May's charms? What about Fitz and Simmons? He loves her SO MUCH! Ugh.
As for Arrow…yeah, the

Who is Dan Fantana?

Agree on GA being batman lite. And threes aren't complaints. They're the reasons I believe it's not out of the realm of possibility that Isabel is actually Talia. I love everything about the show. I just don't buy the "they won't do X because it's too similar to TDK. They have proven repeatedly that they aren't

Ra's gassing the narrows using Waynetech's microwave emitter and Merlyn destroying the glades with Queen-connected machinery are not "plot points"?

I don't disagree, but several episodes have scenes/quips taken directly from TDK trilogy. Off the top of my head, in season 1 Ollie ventures out during the day on a motorcycle with a helmet as a disguise, and he even says something about "hooding up" during the day not being subtle. Same as Bruce to Alfred in TDK.

They also said there would be no superpowers in Arrow. Things change. And Henri Ducard is canon. That didn't stop TDKR universe (Arrow's template) for making him a cover identity for Ra's.

Yup. Especially with Canary and Oliver's exchange last week where Canary asked where Slade is and Oliver just gave that look. There is going to be some great Slade-centric shit this season!

GREAT point!

Given how good Amell's become otherwise, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that maybe the lack of chemistry is being done intentionally. Kind of fits with the speech he gave Felicity.

I think that's EXACTLY who she is. With the League being featured and Ra's being namedropped, I have a very strong hunch she will be revealed as Talia before the season ends.

I love the "slow burn" of the flashbacks. The patience and storytelling of the flashbacks reminds me of reading a great arc in the comic. Ollie is a character with several decades of source material from which to draw. There's no need to rush it all at once.
Besides, every time we detour from whatever ultimately

It's also tied to the drugs/experiments that turned Slade Wilson into Deathstroke.

Apologies if someone has already covered it…
1. The particle accelerator is going to lead to Barry Allen becoming the Flash.
2. The WWII era super soldier experiments are going to be huge for Deathstroke. Somehow Slade will be made a guinea pig for whatever Ivo finds, and the version of Deathstroke we all know from

Henri Ducard was already a separate (fairly important) character in Bruce Wayne's mythos, and they had no problem turning him into an alias for Ra's in Begins. I kind of REALLY LOVE the idea of Summer as Talia. Now I have to rewatch her first interactions with Ollie in the boardroom. The condescending, cool

Obviously my allegiance is to all things comics in the Batverse, but Liam Neeson's pronunciation HAS to be the correct one. It's just too perfect when he says it.

Right? The poor, tough, white trash kid is always oh-so-fashionable…

Punisher/Daredevil/Iron Fist and Luke Cage/Moon Knight leading into a Marvel Knights series….On FX or AMC or Showtime or HBO.
PLEASE?
