Correct on Sons of Liberty. Solidus is another clone of the original Snake, Venom Snake is killed in Outer Heaven. As Ojit pointed out, it’s a really confusing and hard to follow lore. I haven’t had a console since PS2 so I never got to play Guns of Patriots.
