Same problem here in Rochester NY. A third of the city’s entire budget goes to the schools and all we get is a less than 50% graduation rate and burned out teachers. Mayor after mayor can only guess that more money is the answer and the entrenched teachers union leadership sees that as a way to add layers of useless…

I would, but I don’t see where the money is being spent on kids in the CPS. My daughter’s HS is one of the best in the state, and the kids get by through the ingenuity of the parents, principal, and teachers.
