Ah, yes. “Inflation.”
Ah, yes. “Inflation.”
Willie Wilson does this in Chicago all the time, without any pretense of a PAC. Only difference is that when he runs for (insert office here), everyone just laughs and votes for someone else anyway.
“People are still fueling up, despite these high prices...”
No kidding. I can’t afford a single family home that’s within even a 20 minute drive of my work, every single iteration of my industry has their offices in downtown areas, WFH is not an option, and public transit isn’t even running yet when I have to be at…
Legitimately was waiting for something horrific that Rob was saving for the end, like “has three different salvage titles from two states and another from an Eastern Bloc nation.’
That’s not a restoration project. That’s a large hunk of scrap metal.
Is it 2026 yet? Because then, I can bring over a Renault Avantime.
Counterpoint to 1st gear: Cars that were built in 2010 (now 12 years old) are a helluva lot better made and more reliable than, say, cars built in the 80s-90s-early 00s.
$8200 for a 41-year old, non-collectible, non-museum quality Toyota hatchback. God, I can’t wait for this market to collapse in on itself.
I legit miss our old Mazda5. If Mazda (or any company) made another similarly-sized van, I’d be one of the first in line to buy it.
Get ready for this used car market bubble to burst, spectacularly. There’s going to be so many repos hitting the market this summer and fall, it’s going to be crazy.
There aren’t that many examples of E63 wagons out there under $60K. I see 5 nationwide on AutoTrader. None have under 78K miles. I was ready to hammer the ND button, but again, in this market...it’s actually a NP based off what else is out there.
$39K for a museum quality Mazda ______
In a weird coincidence, I saw a Kia Borrego in a driveway on Saturday and a CR-Z for sale in someone’s yard on Friday.
Isn’t this another prime example of ‘things you can buy for the price of a fully loaded Camry, but will bankrupt you on the back end?’
Never thought I’d see the day where $7500 for a 27-year old F-150 would be considered a NP. Yet here we are.
:checks the price of diesel:
Last March, I bought a 31K mile, 2016 HR-V EX-L NAVI from Carvana. In a year, I have put more than 20K on it...and got an offer from Carmax to sell it to them for $2700 MORE than I paid for it a year ago.
Oh, good. A less reliable Trax/Ecosport clone to be sold off to the least credit worthy people in America. That’s what we need.
My God, is this seriously the market now? $9500 for a 20-year old, non-collectible GM product just because it has low miles?
You want to get crazy, Stellantis? Bring over the e-Rifter. Market it as The Element That Honda Killed Off.
