I loved the designs of those mid-late 90s Mazdas in high school. IMO, they’ve aged wonderfully. I still love the lines on the MX-6, the quirky almost dome on the MX-3 hatch, the rounded 929 was just a puddle of curves and comfiness...

Yes, it’s a shitty mid-aughts GM product. Yes, the interior materials are crap. Yes, you will have to explain to anyone who asks why the hell you bought a Saturn and why this is different from a regular Ion.
If you are on a budget where a viable option is ‘CPO Camry,’ then a Maserati is not for you.
It was an shiny, orange polished turd in 1977. Having a pristine example of a shiny polished turd 42 years later does not make it desirable.
I had one of these in 2006. Note there is no end year for my ownership. Bought one, un-modded, with 19K on it in May of 06. By October, it had been at the local Dodge dealer -TWELVE!- times with everything from blown sensors to knocks to a cracked pressure plate. It bit the big one in October when the engine threw a…
Over MLB All-Star weekend (when the Score and ESPN 1000 meatheads usually take the week off), the powers that be in Chicago radio decided to grace us with Chet Coppock, Mike North, Boers, and McNeil. On Monday, I joke with a buddy of mine, “can’t wait to have these assholes get Dave Wannstedt on to reminisce about the…
You think Tronc is bad? Take a look at the recent goings-on at Cumulus Media. Old owners tank the stock price to under a QUARTER- 25 cents- per share, then ‘step aside’ for a new CEO to ‘restructure’ them in bankruptcy. Contracts are allowed to be broken by federal bankruptcy judges, layoffs occur nationwide, yet…
“minor leaks from both engine and transmission”
Could be worse. Idiots on The Score are now wondering out loud if the Cards would trade him BACK to the Cubs...because 2016, or something.
Tyler Ulis? Nah, no place for him here. Alec Peters? Nah, what good is a spot-up 3-point specialist?
Give Devin Booker ALL THE MONIES!
I worked at a Nissan dealership on and off through college, then again in 06-07. I remember the redesign came out with MY 07 and wondered who the hell would actually, willingly, buy a Sentra.
NMAC was lenient with credit, but not to the extent of say, Mitsu or (now) Cerberus. There were never mega-incentives on them…
$2800 for a 200,000 mile Saturn? Not a bloody chance in hell. I don’t care what it has under the hood or how nice it may be.
An 18 year old Bimmer that was a project for TWO owners and still needs work? This would be pushing CP money at HALF of what dude is asking.
Jesus- completely forgot about the Chevy products. I didn’t even know the 370z had a roadster version. I don’t think I’ve ever even seen one of them in the wild.
If the Germans leave the convertible market...what does that leave? The :shudder: BuickOpel Cascada and the Mustang? Is that really all the non-German, non-exotics that are left?
I can’t get past that interior. I couldn’t at the time it was new, and I still can’t.
NP. Not for me, but for someone else. I’m leery about the wheel choices and the nose job, and let’s face it. Maintenance costs are going to eat you alive sooner rather than later.
6 more of those, please. Holy crap, that was insane.
I’ve had an unhealthy obsession with the FC convertibles since I was a kid. NP.
If I wanted a $5K convertible, I feel like this would be one of the better purchases out there, boring or not. Most other drop tops in that price range (at least near me) are either Sebrings, PT Cruisers, or 01-04 V6 Mustangs with 170K-plus miles.
