So can we talk about the video for Dime? I know it was released in 2002. but damn, if it doesn't feel like 1997.

Such good points! In many ways, Rafael is the idealist/romantic … He's all in for Jane and has been since the start. He holding out for the fairy tale in ways practical, sensible Jane can't.

Up vote solely for the "fix it, Jesus."

So while Rafael gets the most criticism for being thinly developed, I think it's true of all of the men on the show. Michael is only developed in the context of Jane - we know very little about his motivations outside of the fact he loves Jane. Why is he a cop? What's the secret Billy hinted about? Rogelio: while we

Aggressively stupid is a great turn of phrase. Oh, and I agree with all your points.

I just figured it out … Brett Dier reminds me of Donald O'Connor. Oh, and "Dad. You are locked into Dad now." Camil should be the definition of scene stealer in every language.

But damn that pillow

But even then Jane eventually turned back to Xo when she was heart-broken over Michael. The idea that family can be that loving and true, in spite of the dysfunction, is really lovely to see.

Or alternate but related theory: Aaron has been posing as his brother Roman to find a way into the Marbella because of his connection to Sin Rostro/Rose. He ends up dead at the hands of (Scott, Petra, Magda?). Rafael goes to find him (Aaron) to tell him of his brother's death only to learn that Roman isn't the one

So here's my theory (Solely based on the fact that I don't want Rafael to be engaged in something criminal. Why? Because he was really sweet in this episode): I think after Bellboy Tom was murdered and Michael and Nadine tell Rafael that Roman Zazo was connected to Sin Rostro, Rafael decided to do some investigating

The dramatic hand gestures and posture made it.

That was great interplay - perfect non-verbal acting. And a small but perfect bit of staging and set direction: Dude was eating egg whites.

Clearly I missed that - I need a BPM for this show.

And no. 7 (I hope the show's writers are keeping up with this shit because I am about at capacity): So Luisa and Rafael only share a father, not a mother? Luisa's mom had a psychotic break whereas Raf's mother abandoned him at age four?

So, so many thoughts and questions!
1) No surprise that Rose is Sin Rostro - she has been a stone bitch from the start. (That's a compliment.) But I want to know why - was she involved in getting Emilio to bankroll The Marbella for Rafael? When Sin Rostro/a was underground for those five years, was Rose building her

And the Mexican population in Miami is rather small - tons of great Caribbean (Cuba, DR, PR) and South American food but very few truly great Mexican places.

I agree with all of this but I mostly up voted for the phrase "booty buddies."

Agree - he still needs some development but having his own defined plot line seems like a start. Before he was an accessory to Petra's scheming and Jane's drama.

Contrary opinion on Rafael: By and large he has been a thinly developed, sensitive hunk (which is mostly fine by me - his pectorals should get their own credit line). But I think this episode gave him a little more backbone and a touch of bad ass-ery. I appreciated how held his own with Xiomara and his own

For a ladies' man, Rogelio is at least a third chick. I dig that.
