My thoughts exactly. These things look half-assed, with crappy humor thrown in. Maybe this is the videogame equivalent to contemporary art?

Well, Guild Wars 1 worked that way. Once you got to level 20, the first thing you did was to get your max armor (given you weren't taxi'd to a vendor that sold it), and after that you were free to chose whether or not you'd go for the elite/prestige armors, which were different models with the same stats as your max…
Come on guys, GFWL may be sucky-sucky, but they are probably using it so that PC gamers can play with Xbox gamers. Shadowrun did this, but that was an FPS. Since this is an ARPG, the difference of controls isn't going to make much of a difference on PvP.
Lost planet 1 and 2 were good games. The main problem with 2 is that it failed to deliver. This boss, and several other parts on the "Oracle" series have always made me think "what if...".
How the ending should happen (spoilers incoming, btw):
Obviously, Japan is doing a bad job hiding the existance of the tentacle monsters they apparently hint at us with those animes.
I know this article is about the game's ending, but i'm going to warn you guys that there are spoilers incoming so...
As for the livelier world, i don't think that's something worth focusing on. The whole point of a totalitarian regime is population control.
