Oh I thought he was appealing the sentence, not the conviction. DNA evidence, two eye-witnesses, absolutely no coherent denial of the rape or alternate theory from his attorneys, and this level of public scrutiny and rage makes that a very fucking dumb idea, but hey- his camp seem to be living in an alternate universe

The point is that it’s worse than “no comment” to demonstrate such a complete lack of responsibility or remorse.

That it’s convenient for Gawker (and its readers) to jump on the hate train for this guy doing something abhorrent, yet refusing to jump on that same hate train for other abhorrent actions that don’t fit their agenda.

Actions do have consequences (but only when I’m willing to accept them).

This is what I say to those who want to abort unwanted children.

That doesn’t go over so well on Gawker.

BTW, this jerk deserves everything negative that comes his way and more. His sentence should have been harsher. I just think it's funny to see the "consequences" line of thinking on a site like this that actively

(Whispers) not all white men

No intent from Mozgov at all, you can see him almost try to lean away and diminish the collision. Kyries fault for running him into before he could get set. Andrew Bogus has set about 2 dozen far dirtier screens since the playoffs started.

Man... you seem like a totally chill dude to play pick-up with....

“You silly English pig-dogs! We know about your Brazilian midfielder and shall purchase him from you. I fart in your general direction!”

Shhhhhh, I don’t want PSG finding out about him!

As someone who watches Coutinho play 40+ times/season, you never really walk away with the idea that the shots from distance are *bad.* The most jarring aspect of Coutinho’s hot/cold match-to-match juxtaposition is his tendency to be the offensive catalyst or be completely unremarkable with virtually no middle ground.

Give this man a job at Gawker. He knows how to use the internet to research a statistic-based statement.

I may do that. How much do you guys pay research consultants?

But that would add, like, 20 minutes onto the writing of an article! Do you think he is made of time or something?

Barry’s got him there....he called him a smart guy, but like, sarcastically.

Maybe if he was paid to write about sports you’d have a point.

Maybe instead of guessing that a lot of 4-1 series have their lone loss in game 3 you should actually look up the numbers?

I guess you missed the most recent Super Bowl played. ...Or the prior one that ended because of a ridiculous defensive play. ...Or the one before that where a ferocious defense caused a blowout. ...Or the one before that, while high-scoring, was between two teams known for defense and had the game decided on a

Shocking that a CB would want to minimize the effect of his penalties.

Defensive Pass Interference is a spot foul for good reason: If it’s a 10-yard penalty, then every time a receiver looks like they’ll catch a ball more than 10 yards down field, it becomes a mostly+EV play to commit PI for a DB. The further downfield, the more +EV. By making it a spot foul, it’s in the best interest of

Given that Sherman commits DPI on about every play, I could imagine a simple reason for him to want this change.
