I don’t have a problem with the top 50% of the concept. But the bottom looks horrible to me. It looks like an 83 Camaro that at too much cheese in the front and a cheese grater in the back.

From the article it seems like they were doing really well in 2023 but grossly miscalculated the market trends in 2024, leading to increased inventory, reduced profit margin, etc.

Look, shit happens, and I think they should suck it up and take their refund and act like adults.

Yeah not only does shit happen, but theyve offered them a 50% refund which I think is great that theyre going above and beyond the minimum! They would much rather put everyone else at risk which is stupid and makes them sound entitled. I personally would take the 65% off the next cruise but thats just me. 

I’m more of the “wreak havoc and make the fuckers pay” school of protest, rather than the “make myself suffer and watch them ignore me” train of thought.

I’m just an numptie that cant spell “MBA”, but it appears the biz plan was during COVID, raise prices per 6th grade-esque supply/demand curve principles. Then after COVID, KEEP those prices despite very new, very different supply/demand curve slopes, then stand agog whilst sales drop off a cliff.

Is Nissan too big to fail in the US or do you think they will have to pull a Suzuki and completely leave the market to focus on their home market? That would be catastrophic to dealers here I think. I’m shocked to know that they are now behind Subaru and Suzuki.
