Yeah nah.
Yeah nah.
what a desperately unnecessary article. it’s an ugly incoherent box, with the ugliest ass since the AC Cobra hardtop. there is nothing XKE about it, and certainly nothing that reflects all the sexiness that made Jaguar what it was.
it is ugly, it is stupid.
A horrid design. A Tesla truck design for a sports car? RIP Jaguar.
It’s an homage to this, isn’t it?
I don’t have a problem with the top 50% of the concept. But the bottom looks horrible to me. It looks like an 83 Camaro that at too much cheese in the front and a cheese grater in the back.
From the article it seems like they were doing really well in 2023 but grossly miscalculated the market trends in 2024, leading to increased inventory, reduced profit margin, etc.
Look, shit happens, and I think they should suck it up and take their refund and act like adults.
Yeah not only does shit happen, but theyve offered them a 50% refund which I think is great that theyre going above and beyond the minimum! They would much rather put everyone else at risk which is stupid and makes them sound entitled. I personally would take the 65% off the next cruise but thats just me.
I’m more of the “wreak havoc and make the fuckers pay” school of protest, rather than the “make myself suffer and watch them ignore me” train of thought.
JFC. Would they prefer the other option, that they risk the life of everyone aboard and the safety of the ship by proceeding on? Shit happens. I think a 50% refund is perfectly reasonable. I’m sure there’s language in the contract that addresses unforeseen issues like this. Want to go on a hunger strike? Sounds like a…
Oh. Fuck. Off.
I’m just an numptie that cant spell “MBA”, but it appears the biz plan was during COVID, raise prices per 6th grade-esque supply/demand curve principles. Then after COVID, KEEP those prices despite very new, very different supply/demand curve slopes, then stand agog whilst sales drop off a cliff.
Is Nissan too big to fail in the US or do you think they will have to pull a Suzuki and completely leave the market to focus on their home market? That would be catastrophic to dealers here I think. I’m shocked to know that they are now behind Subaru and Suzuki.
Excellent visuals
I really love what the designers were trying to do with Cybertruck, it’s really interesting design.
And going too fast as well.
Fuck Elon. That is all.
Maybe it’s just me, but I’m starting to think that this Elon guy isn’t such a good dude.
Yeah, well. Just because they can get parts doesn’t mean Boeings will stop crashing
When you consolidate all of your value models and brands and try to take them all premium, bad things happen. When you think your customers will *always* pay top dollar for vehicles not called Hellcat, bad things will happen. When VW bought Skoda they kept them in their segment by selling value models, not push them…
