Most people are idiots and think my bike (as in “cargo bicycle”) is stainless steel. It is brushed titanium. And they often think I welded it myself. But even my bike shows greasy fingerprints. Luckily, it doesn’t have huge flat surfaces.

Yes, that was my first thought too. It is such a stupid saying. I get that it’s supposed to mean that it is now different water to the water you crossed, but still ridiculously stupid.

That is definitely in keeping with their business ethics, or utter lack thereof.
