Yes, majority of various fumes goes away, but that’s only the manufacturing products. Foam specifically, if made from something toxic off-gasses as it breaks down. Just like tyres (fluorocarbons etc.). If it’s part of the product, it will continue to off gas.

I buy older cars. The foam has almost certainly off-gassed all the chemicals that might be dangerous from the manufacture.
