Not only that. They use fuel pumps for all those smaller engines. Effing fuel pumps.

Tesla is such a douchey company. Ripping customers off is grand. When threatened to be held to task, they silently change things. I hope enough customers get together in a class action suit, as the change on their website is an admission that they lied to the customers and delivered a lesser product.
Yeah, that was the notion I tried to make clear :) There is a reason I only have a single (i.e “one”) man as a friend. The others are women. It gets awkward at times, as I’m closest to my female friends, and a girls’ night out sort of precludes me (sort of, I’ve been on a few, lol). I am also lucky that I have two…
No, you said these words, where the sentiment is that it so complex that it is next to impossible to check things. Making the exact same sentiment:
Yup.
Bolts will be shaken loose/off if not bolted down correctly, or if designed improperly. Giving Boing a pass on this is ridiculous. What a fucking joke, still blaming anyone but the manufacturer, pretending it must be some third party who did “something”.
Even if they become huge here in Europe, I’m as likely to buy a car from them as I am to buy anything from Musk. Calling the police on critics. Seriously, that is some fascist shit.
I wasn’t claiming a subcontractor can’t do shoddy work. That is obviously the reality. But not here. You brought it up, so I figured you were trying to make the argument that this is what happened here. But apparently not.
Not when it funnily enough happens on a particular model of aircraft, across airlines. Did they all use the same third party installer who had a bad day on all of them?
So the excuse is that it is hard to build planes and track down faults and flaws, so why bother? It seems like you actually wrote their manual and defined their work culture, as that seems exactly where they are headed.
This is not something you can wipe off on some 3rd party installer. This is across the board on several airlines and their planes.
If any of those things failed in the manners you mention, it was still factory error, as engineering specs and material choice etc. is still down to the engineers and therefore the factory.
Ugh. Why are men.
You have a display you can use to write messages on? Yeah, that is a great way for certain people to crash as they type a message to be displayed as they overtake.
I’ll take an old, rusted motovelo riding it with no helmet over anything Cyber.
Wasn’t he the exact guy who claimed some third party installer hadn’t put it back again correctly?
So much for the people who claimed that it was some third party installer who installed (I believe it was WiFi they mentioned) something, and then didn’t put it together properly again.
No, she described herself as Elon’s starter wife. On her wedding day, he told her that he was the alpha in this relationship. Yes, he really did that.
In the US, they self certify more than in other civilized countries, and even then, the FAA employs 1300 engineers. That said, it is not enough, and too much is self certified. And much more self certification is in place than before. I think it was the late 1970s deregulation was put in place to make it more up to…
Ha! Yes! Or his first wife - “starter wife” as she called herself.
