Really?? You can’t see the bias?? Any real car enthusiast would be all over these track times and be excited to see that lap video at Laguna Seca but not Jalopnik. They just have to piss all over anything that Tesla does. I’m dumbfounded at the amount of hate an American car company gets from an automotive website.

Just enjoy it. The more silly stuff they write (like pretending the fact that Tesla plans to take the EV record *with* a 7-seater family sedan (e.g. showing off) actually means that they’re inventing a new category because they can’t win the actual one), the dumber they’ll feel every time they look at the record list…

This is really bumming me out. I love this site, as do a lot of the other commenters on this post. I just wish they’d own up to a post slipping through without as much oversight as it might have needed, make the correction, and move on. I fully support equitable pay and standing behind missteps like this only…

Yeah, a small American startup has grown to a point where people are spending more money on their product than on any others in the segment. I would have thought that would be applauded.

To be fair it is still a dangerous substance that can cause real health problems to people so it’s understandable that authorities would want to investigate and punish people for its use.
