We should be careful about shaming people who don’t kneel. Everybody got all bent out of shape when Kaep knelt, even though it was his first amendment right to damn well do what he pleased. But now that everybody’s all woke we’re doing it all over again - getting bent out of shape when someone doesn’t kneel.

Yeah, I’m more in the camp that says its complicated for everyone. This is because I believe each and every one of us grew up in a society that is still very much not over racism. And this experience has unfortunately tainted us on a conscious and subconscious level. That doesn’t mean we’re all bad people, it DOES

Hamilton’s message is first-hand, honest, and direct. He has (and continues to) experience racism on a daily basis. His skills, intelligence, and life choices are questioned and discounted all the time. Let’s applaud Lewis for his stand and applaud Mercedes for backing him.

So let me get this straight. F1 is a huge corporation full of rich white dudes who possibly (likely) are only doing this because it is trendy/good PR/attractive to young consumers/penance for terrible past actions.

Kneeling doesn’t mean anything. It’s theater. Even David Duke can kneel. It’s what the person does day-to-day that tells if they are racist.

Does getting mad at someone for not doing enough really help anything?

Being passionate about emitting heavy black smoke out of a tailpipe seems on par with being passionate about the look and smell of the shit coming out of one's ass.

The author of this “comment” sounds like he had his balls stolen by a girl in a Prius. This read screams “I am a beta Male, hear my big truck!” Why the personal attacks instead of a poignant comment? Just makes you look like a douche, not me.

It’s beautiful but I’m holding out for the Zagato Aston Martin Concorde James Bond 007 TAG Heuer Special Edition Superleggera DBS painted in Corgi Gold with matching luggage and his/her jumpsuits, thank you very much.

That is amazing.  McLaren, Moss, Brooks, Hill, Bonnier, and von Trips, in case anyone is wondering.

Leclerc gave the exact same “scare” to one of the mcclarens earlier in the race and the Maclaren moved over a bit. I view this as a racing incident. It happens all the time in F1 that when you edge up along side someone who's basically got you on the grass, that person pushes back into the track with their elbows. I

“2019 is the 19th year of the 3rd millennium, the 19th year of the 21st century, and the 10th and last year of the 2010s decade.”

“The ‘80s” didn’t end on December 31st 1990.

Totally irrelevant to the specific topic, but while looking for any images of a land speeder with a roof, I found this. Now I want it.

AFAIK, McLaren still has the trophy in their possession. Fun fact: the arm rotates!

Um...what you quoted simply addresses a recommendation that people who convert to EV keep their old parts safe and well-labelled.

Single roll with a quarter turn. Near perfect landing.

Well, once edited yes.

Pfff. I bought this kit in 1994:

I don’t think this was a good way for Koenigsegg to correct the record. They should have tweeted, “Quick jump on this One:1 before Bonham’s figures out how much it’s really worth”... which would have alerted Koenigsegg’s Saudi clientele, that follow their Twitter page, this auction is coming up and they need to bid
