I think it's ridiculous and it messes me up for days. I think if people want to decide to shift their own schedule to save energy (however that works) they should do it on their own.

So, I'm not sure I understand how this is cloud related. This type of thing could happen anywhere you store data online.

@TheFu: why rsync every few days? the whole point of rsync is to copy only differences. I rsync to hard links every 4 hours for a time machine like backup.

I carry an extra wallet so I can loose that one instead of my actual wallet. It's so much more convent to loose your extra wallet.

To those wondering where silverlight is used...If you want to use Netflix streaming to your PC (or mac) you need silverlight. That's the big one for me.

Oh yeah, another great place to find peices is old printers. Because they are so cheap people toss them out all the time. They are always chock full of good stuff. Stepper motors, transformers, stainless steel rods, rubber wheels, etc. Priceless for robot building.

I do this all the time. Many electronics kits allow you to buy just the printed circuit board, then you can sample all the parts and build it for next to nothing.

Here's my problem. I decide to get rid of something, then I move it to another place and leave it there instead.
