Shelby. After Carroll Shelby.

Hahaha, Kinja is our collective punishment for coming to a Gawker site.

Why haven’t we banned high weight rocks in this day and age?

Obligatory

Ditto. Miss it more than any car I’ve owned. Took me 6 months to find it in Azure blue with a manual, and had to sell it due to finances about 5 years ago.

I don't think you used the term "unsprung weight" correctly there.

“#2: Zero or negative G maneuvers in excess of 10 seconds”

Saw your name navihawk... and I thought... geesh where have i seen this before... where have i seen this word before... looked down and i see it on my watch.

Came here to say something snarky before realizing it might get me banished to the grey for all eternity.

Yeah? You really want to poke this hornets nest again?

Why are you writing for Jalopnik and allowed to say things bad about quirky high-performance budget vehicles, again?

That’s true of every car company. Every single one.

I said this in another comment section. But since this is about the looks I’ll say it again. I really am not a fan. It looks like a Chrysler 300 with squinty lights and an Alpha grill. I think it looks pretty bad next to the A4, 3 series, and XE.

Bull. Show me these bone yards. British tanks are not better and that’s according to Britiah tankers I’ve spoken with! As for designed for a war that will never come, well you've already been proven wrong on that one. The Abrams was designed in the 70s and fought in major tank battles in Desert Storm and OIF. Also

Actually the US sold these to the Saudis. It was designed by Chrysler Defence and is now built/rebuilt by General Dynamics so your statement about being too cheap to diversify is not accurate. The only reason we’re still buying these things is complex but to simplify it for you, the M1A2S is pretty much one the better

Easy!

Anti lock brakes. Complain about speed sensors and government intervention all you want. But when you need them, they come through. I have zero doubt that quite a number of people reading this comment avoided death or injury at least once because of ABS.

Unfortunately, you cannot currently purchase a roof-mounted rocket launcher for civilian use. I know this because I went down to my local Plymouth-Jeep-Eagle dealer to inquire about it, and the people there said to me: Sir, this place has been a Dairy Queen for fourteen years.

An MR2 and a trip to your local car graphics company, and really that thing can not be described as a car, let alone a mid engines one, it's a go cart with a roof, a very dangerous looking one at that!

Why the hell would you spend $5k on that thing, there is no way that amount of “car” there and you could get a real, half decent car for that much and have much less chance of dying if you hit a twig in the road!
