Everyone should just refuse the scanners and invite the patdowns as a form of protest.

I hesitate to use/try new Google services for this reason. Yes, non-Google services can go away too, but the probability is far higher with Google. Google has little to lose when they close down services. Fool me once ...
I find some of this guy’s scripts really cringy. You can learn from this guy for sure. I still read his stuff, but I’d be careful with his scripts.
I know this - the sodium lauryl sulphate in toothpastes gives me canker sores. I once bought regular Colgate being lazy and got canker sores in a few days.
This would have been great if it didn’t keep wobbling. The visuals are less than relaxing.
I’m an introvert. I like my quiet time. I enjoy being alone. The best thing you can do for yourself is to get out of your comfort zone and learn to communicate. This is probably one of the biggest impediments to success. You don’t have to be the life of the party, but definitely put the time and effort to learn to…
Wasn’t intentional, but hey it works!
Amazon’s kindle team should be fired. The paper-white kindles are slow and unresponsive, sure they are underpowered hardware, but I doubt if people on their team understand things like algorithms and order of complexity. The android app is even worse - it takes about a GB with a handful of books. This has to be one of…
If you’re asked for your salary expectation, don’t play games. Either ask them for their range, or mention your upper limit. It saves everyone time.
These counting tricks don’t work for me. They frustrate me. I keep my eyes open and try not to think about stressful or exciting things. This works reasonably well for me.
The diplomatic deflection in #1 is pointless and annoying. It’s fine if you want to flip it and ask for the offered range, but please don’t give these vague pointless nonsense.
I feel more and more that safari is the new IE. We get weird issues specific to safari on our web app, which works fine with chrome and Firefox.
Why would you want to milk a mountain lion? ;)
Very nice idea but it has a flaw: a lot of people slouch from their necks. Their heads are in front of their shoulders rather than right on top. Your chest and even head might be vertical, but you can still be slouching. Maybe you should place this on your neck? It would like really weird though, and really bad news…
This is probably focused on people not in the creative field. The bigger point is probably to do something creative in something you don’t do as a part of your regular routine.
Florida used to be no-fault too, I don’t know if it still is, and it’s more expensive than most other states, but not as expensive as MI.
What I am about to say is contradictory to common advice. I am not a recruiter, but I do hire software engineers. I get the salary discussion out of the way first. I don’t want to waste my time and the candidate’s time by going through the interview and code tests if we’re too far off on the salary. It doesn’t have to…
The Cinque Terre national park reminds me of Just Cause 3.
This can also be done with mung beans. Different texture and feel than rice.
